The Movement of Animals

As a follow on from Eadweard Muybridge's work, I took a video of my cat, Willow, and split it down into 10 frames showing key points of the walk cycle of a cat.  I then slowed it down so each frame could be seen clearly and added lines to show the basic anatomical structure of the legs and back.






The black line represents the back,  the red line represents the legs at the near-side and the blue line represents the legs on the far-side.
